Strathearn Crowned Overall Ulster Schools' Athletics Champions!!!

After superb performances at the District Championships the Strathearn girls headed off to Antrim Forum last weekend for the Ulster Championships where they continued their form emerging Intermediate Champions, Senior Champions and Overall Ulster Champions!!! Special mention to our outgoing Games Captain Anna McKinty who was Ulster Schools' Champion in the Senior Girls Long Jump and Triple Jump as well being part of our 4 x 100m relay which finished 4th and our 4 x 300m relay who were also Ulster Champions. Anna has been a great ambassador for our school being involved in many sports over her 7 years and we wish her all the best at the Irish Athletics Championships next weekend and for the future.

Strathearn's Mini, Minor & Junior athletes performed brilliantly in their first competitive athletics championships finishing Runners-Up in all 3 age groups.

Intermediate & Senior District A Schools' Athletics Championships took place on Wednesday 27th April at Mary Peters. Despite 2 years since Strathearn's last competitive athletics our girls showed their talents in all disciplines and took home the overall trophy in both age groups.
