Welcome to Strathearn School
Welcome to Strathearn School’s website. Founded in 1929, Strathearn was this year ranked the top girls’ grammar school in Northern Ireland in The Sunday Times’ Parent Power Report. Our school motto, Encourage – Empower – Excel, underpins all that we do here at the school.
When you explore our website, you will find information about the school’s exceptional academic record across a wide variety of disciplines, the school’s excellence in the pursuit of extracurricular activities like sport, drama and music and how pupils and staff work together to make a positive difference to others. You will also glean a sense of the community that we share at Strathearn.
Our pupils are at the centre of what we do here, and our pastoral system supports our girls as they grow up during their time with us, reaching their academic potential and maturing into well-rounded contributors to society. Our alumni boasts many medical and legal professionals, as well as businesspeople, journalists, artists and educators.
At Strathearn, we support our pupils to develop their love of learning, make life-long friends and take advantage of the marvellous opportunities on offer here.
