Co Down District Athletics Intermediate and Senior Championships

Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the Intermediate and Senior Co Down District Athletics Championships on Wednesday 3rd May. Strathearn were crowned Overall Intermediate Champions by a huge margin of 40 points. The Seniors were unfortunate to be just 1 point below the winners and so finished runners-up. 14 individuals plus the 3 relay teams have qualified for the Ulster Championships later this month. It is not just the medal winners who gain points, so special congratulations to all those athletes who worked extremely hard to do their best and earn Strathearn valuable points.
