Congratulations to our Magistrates Court Trial team who won the Northern Ireland regional final of the Magistrates Court Trial competition! The team took on roles as lawyers, witnesses, magistrates, usher, legal adviser, court report and court artist and prepared a case. They then presented this case, competing against other schools at Laganside Courts in actual courts and judged by real life lawyers. The standards were very high, so we were delighted by our win. Thanks to our team for their preparation and delivery of the case and to the court staff and lawyers who gave up their time to host and judge the competition.
We were presented with the winner’s trophy and certificates by staff from Northern Ireland Court Services.
