This week, a team of Lower Sixth pupils made up Chairman Isabella Graham, speaker Amy Powell and an Expresser of thanks, Evie Mitchell, competed in the Belfast heat of the Business and Professional Women Public Speaking Competition. Our chosen topic was Shattering the Glass on Women’s Inequality, after writing each of our individual speeches and putting in so much hard work getting up, and speaking in front of judges and other teams, we really enjoyed the nerve-wracking but incredible experience.
Isabella, Evie and Amy all agree this was a really worthwhile endeavour. Well done to them all for taking part in this demanding competition and we look forward to hearing more from this team of Public Speakers.
