The Minister of Education, Peter Weir, today visited Strathearn School.
The Minister heard from our Head Girl Team and the Chair and Vice Chair of our School Council. The pupils raised concerns that they have about examinations, having to take time away from school to isolate and how schools might use recently announced funding to support pupils’ mental health and wellbeing in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. Mr Weir listening thoughtfully to pupils and shared his perspective on these and other issues.
Head Girl, Jemima Thomas thanked the Minister for taking time out of his busy schedule to speak to pupils.
