This week, School Council reps and their deputies from first, second and third form were invited to participate in an interactive debating workshop that focused on litter. The Let’s Talk Rubbish session was delivered by Belfast City Council, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable morning in which pupils developed their critical thinking and presentation skills while learning more about how our behaviour can impact on our environment.
Pupils took a great deal away from the session, and will no doubt reflect on what they learnt at their next school council meeting which will be in January.
