Our Minor swimmers qualified from the Swim Ulster Schools' Gala in October to compete at the Irish Minor Schools' Championships which took place on 10th February in Dublin. Here the girls went on to excel again and were crowned Irish Schools' Champions in the Freestyle and Medley Relays. The team was made up of two pupils from Penrhyn, Grace Davison and Darcy Shields and two pupils from Form 1, Zophia Quigley and Aoife Stafford. Individually the girls did superbly as well with Aoife making finals in both Freestyle and Backcrawl. Zophia brought home a Gold medal in Butterfly and Silver in Freestyle and Grace won Gold in the IM and silver in Backcrawl. A brilliant display of swimmiing girls. Well Done!!
