The staff of Strathearn was invited to the library this week to enjoy a selection of delicious treats with tea or coffee. Pupils from the Library Team baked up a feast, which included crumbly shortbread, a delicious chocolate orange cheesecake, rainbow cupcakes and giant cookies. Thanks to the very generous staff whose donations amounted to more than £340, which will be sent to our colleague, Mrs Agnew, who is this year working in Peru. She is developing a library in San Mateo and we hope that through our efforts, she will be able to get some books and other equipment for the children there. Many thanks to the parents and pupils who baked such an array of lovely buns and cakes.
