On Tuesday 10th October we welcomed Laviai Nielsen to the PE Department. Laviai was a member of the GB 4 x 400m Relay team which was 2nd at the World Athletics Championships in London this summer. Many of our pupils had an opportunity to meet Laviai, ask lots of questions and get to hold and even wear her silver medal. The girls were inspired by her short visit and so we have asked Laviai to come back again in the near future to speak more about her journey to becoming and life as a world class athlete.
