On Wednesday 30 August Strathearn welcomed back its Upper Sixth and Leavers to a Prize ceremony.
The Special guest speaker was Miss Rebecca McKinney, local media representative and former pupil of the school. In her speech Miss McKinney urged the girls to work and stay focused on what they wanted to achieve, even if they have to change the direction of their path. Prizes where then distributed by Miss McKinney to the Class of 2017. In her report Mrs Connery (School Principal) acknowledged the outstanding results for the year group and described them as ‘ remarkable and memorable ’ as she wished them well for their future endeavours. The ceremony was closed by Rachel Cowan outgoing Head Girl reading an Irish Blessing to the audience. Family and friends acknowledged a delightful event celebrating a successful seven years for their daughters at Strathearn.
