Six pupils from first and second form participated in the Northern Ireland Heat of the Kids’ Lit Quiz, held at Wellington College, Belfast on 29 November. Amy Major of 2T, Sophie Thomas and Zara Conroy of 1H and Cerys McMurray from 1T made up the team, which was admirably supported by reserves Victoria Murray from 1T and 2T’s Julia Rawson. The girls did a great job, earning top marks in three of the ten rounds, though the team finished in 7th place out of 23 teams. The students had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, which truly celebrated their love of literature.
