Special congratulations are due to Laura McMillan, a past pupil of Drumaghlis Primary School in Crossgar, who achieved straight A* grades in her four A-level subjects of Chemistry, English Literature, History and Mathematics. Laura will now be moving on to the University of Oxford to study History and Economics.
This year seven girls achieved four A grades, and for the second year in a row over 30% of the pupils achieved at least three A grades.
Particular mention should be made of Rebecca Jenkins, Erin Prentice and Frances Wilson who each achieved three A-levels at grade A*. In addition to this Hermione Anstey, Rebecca Davidson, Chloe Reihill and Emma Flannigan achieved two A-levels at grade A and two at A*. Jenni Chambers, Hannah Craig and each achieved three A-levels at grade A and one at A*.
