Reading Champions Quiz Success
Last week, two teams of readers took on the National Literacy Trust’s Reading Champions Quiz in an online regional heat. The topics ranged from classic children’s literature to the latest in contemporary fiction for young people. There were even questions about Manga, folk tales and screen adaptations.
One of our teams was tied for first place after 8 rounds of questions. They managed to win a nerve-wracking tie-break to secure a place in the Grand Final of the competition which will take place in London in a few months’ time.
Congratulations to everyone who took part, and good luck to those who will progress to the Grand Final in June.
