Art Film Club

Art Film Club meets weekly at lunchtime to allow GCSE and Sixth Form Art students to find out more about the wider, wilder world of Art! Using the data projector, we watch short films about individual Artists or Art movements past and present. Pop corn and discussion about the topics raised are encouraged! 

Many girls have been able to incorporate ideas gleaned from the Art Films into their exam coursework, and the “regular” film-goers enriched by a varied programme. Themes this year have ranged from the organic buildings of Gaudi in Barcelona, the witty animations of Nick Park through to the controversies of Brit Art at the Royal Academy.
