Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the Co Down District Athletics Championships on Thursday 10th May. It is not just the medal winners who gain points, so special congratulations to all those athletes who worked extremely hard to do their best and earn Strathearn valuable points. Strathearn were crowned Overall Junior and Minor Champions and the Mini team were 2nd overall. This is in addition to our Intermediate and Senior titles last week, so an outstanding 4 out of 5 Co Down trophies coming back to Strathern this year. From the younger athletes 14 individuals plus the 3 relay teams have qualified for the Ulster Championships, giving us a total of 27 individuals (some in 2 events) and all 6 relay teams preparing for the Ulsters this weekend.
