Strathearn compete at the Northern Ireland Heat of the Kids’ Lit Quiz
This year, two intrepid teams of readers travelled across Belfast to compete in the Northern Ireland Heat of the global competition that tests pupils’ knowledge of children’s literature. Questions were tricky from the off, with rounds on ‘Thieves’, ‘World Myths’ and ‘The Disgusting’. Both teams did admirably, and Strathearn I came 6th, only two points short of securing a prize for placing in the competition. Well done to the girls who worked so well together at this thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Next year’s global final will be held in Singapore, so start reading now to be in with a chance of showing of your reading skills in this brilliant competition.
