On Saturday 21 October forty-four girls from second form to upper sixth visited the Waterfront Hall to listen to the Ulster Orchestra perform a selection of music by John Williams. The audience were treated to iconic film themes which included the music from ET, Superman, Jaws, Memoirs of a Geisha, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park. The pupils had a fantastic view of the orchestra and the third form pupils were able to pick out the themes that they recognised from their Film Music unit.
