Congratulations to our Form 1 Badminton team who reached the Final of the Ulster Schools’ Year 8 Badminton Cup on Friday.They faced Coleraine GS having beaten both Wallace and Friends in previous rounds.The team of Cara Murray, Lois Whiteside, Aiza Ghafoor and Sarah Tweedie got off to a great start and were 3 sets up but unfortunately Coleraine made a comeback and the result went right down to the wire with us being pushed narrowly into runners-up position by 1 point. A lesson well learnt though girls…. every point matters and what a super achievement to get to the final, well done!
