The Northern Ireland Open is the biggest and most prestigious fencing event of the year in NI and was held in Grosvenor Grammar School on Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd January. Strathearn pupil and Belfast Fencing Club member Keziah Beattie won the women’s foil event, confirming her position as NI’s top female foil fencer. This is the second time she’s lifted this trophy, having previously won it in 2015.
