This week we have launched our KS3 1:1 iPad programme to enhance teaching and learning. This is part of a new digital technology initiative at Strathearn rolling out over the next few years. KS3 students will use iPads in a 1:1 classroom environment, while pupils at KS4 and 5 will have access to Chromebooks in School.
Every pupil in Form 1 and 2 at Strathearn has been provided with an iPad Air for learning both in and out of the classroom. Staff from iTeach set up and distributed the iPads giving pupils their first training session. We have not only invested in the iPads, but also in a number of Apps which will help students with their learning, revision and school life.
Teachers at Strathearn were issued their iPads in 2015 allowing time for training before being beginning to use them in the classroom with students.
