On 14th March the Chamber Choir travelled to Nottingham to take part in the Songs of Praise School Choir of the Year competition semi-final. The girls had worked hard preparing two pieces, My Song is Love Unknown and Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho. As well as having the opportunity to perform in front of three celebrity judges they also got to meet other school choirs. The girls were supportive and encouraging to the other choirs and were a credit to Strathearn. The programme will be televised on 3rd May, when you can find out if the choir reached the final!
