Congratulations to the U17 and U19 Squash teams who competed in the Ulster Schools’ Cup on Wednesday 4th February.
The U17 team of Hannah Craig, Victoria White and Emma McGugan defeated Laurelhill and Down High School without dropping a game and took home the Ulster U17 Cup.
The U19 team of Jemma Gillan, Alex Gillan and Alex Reilly were scheduled to play Ballyclare High School in their competition. Alex Reilly however was also competing in the re-scheduled Co Down Cross Country Championships on the same day so the pressure was on the Gillan sisters to win both their matches and secure victory for Strathearn, and they did, bringing home the Ulster U19 Cup as well.
Both teams have now qualified for the Irish Schools’ Cup on the 17th April.
